Pakistani ant
I’ve met Wajiha Siddiqui Mahdi – community architect and educator based in Pakistan thank to international students competition in London. We found similar values in methodologies of work and decided to join the powers. It turned into a collaboration of Wajiha’s and her husband’s Muhhamed Mahdi VMCreatives Studio Team, my Zoochitecture Studio Team, Visual Studies – Architecture students of University of Karachi and community of Sirjani Town.
VMCreatives activated the process of codesigning a playscape in Sirjani Town on suburbs of Karachi in Pakistan where the christian and muslim community share the space. Zoochitecture studio joined the process involving the kids from the community into cocreation. Kids turned architectural drawings into animals dedicated to play. In further team process we all build the playscape that become an oversized ant with wings common for the area.
